I started in the plumbing trade at 17 years old, working for a small shop in Mississauga that handled high-end luxury custom homes. The standards were high, the work was demanding, and mistakes weren't tolerated. That's where I learned to do things right the first time.

From there, I moved on to a company responsible for the plumbing in most, if not all, Hilton Hotels. I was put in charge of several west-end hotel projects, dealing with large systems, tight schedules, and real responsibility. That experience taught me leadership, pressure, and accountability — when something goes wrong, you own it.

I later joined Local 46, putting in four years of high-rise work and two years in commercial construction. Long days, tough conditions, and hard-earned experience. All the while, I was building toward one goal — owning my own company. I wasn't just showing up for a paycheck; I was laying the groundwork for my future.

The turning point came working night shifts at Toronto Pearson Airport. I was handed my layoff papers, and that was it. No excuses. No waiting around. I started Executive Plumbing. Becoming both a business owner and a working plumber was never easy. It meant long hours, risk, and doing whatever it took to keep moving forward. Nothing was handed to me.
